Auto-Backup Every Delighted Survey response to Airtable

Never lose a Delighted survey response again — this workflow copies every new one straight to Airtable, where it has Airtable create a new record in Airtable as a standing backup.

difficulty Beginnersetup 20 minresult A hands-off n8n workflow where every relevant Delighted survey response automatically reaches Airtable — create a new record in Airtable.
  1. 1

    Fetch Delighted data

Add an HTTP Request node (or the native Delighted node if you have credentials set up) and point it at the Delighted API. Poll Delighted for new survey responses. Add a Schedule Trigger before it if this recipe runs on a timer, or a Webhook node if Delighted can push events directly.

  2. 2

Shape the data with a Set node

Add a Set node after the fetch step to pull out the fields you need — e.g. id, title (or name), status, and updated_at from the Delighted survey response. This keeps the rest of the workflow clean and readable.

  3. 3

    Send it to Airtable

Add an Airtable node set to operation Create. Connect your token, pick the Base and Table, and map fields from the Set node.

  4. 4

    Activate and test

Click Activate in the top-right corner. Trigger a real survey response in Delighted (or run the workflow manually against existing data) and confirm it lands correctly in Airtable. Once verified, this runs hands-off.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to code anything?

No. n8n is a visual, drag-and-drop builder. You connect your Delighted and Airtable accounts, map the fields, and activate — no code required.

Where do I get my Delighted API credentials?

In your Delighted account settings, look for "API", "Developers" or "Integrations" and generate an API key or token. Paste it into n8n's HTTP Request node (as a header or credential) or the native Delighted node if one is available.

Can this run on a schedule instead of in real time?

Yes — swap the trigger for a `Schedule Trigger` set to whatever interval fits (every 15 minutes, hourly, daily). The rest of the workflow stays the same.
