    Add the Shopify Trigger node

    Start with a Shopify Trigger node — connect your Shopify store credential and set Topic to Order Created (or Order Paid). n8n registers the webhook with Shopify automatically. This fires the workflow the moment a new order arrives.

    Map the fields with a Set node

    Add a Set node after the trigger to shape the data cleanly. Create fields: order_number to {{ $json.order_number }}, email to {{ $json.email }}, total to {{ $json.total_price }}, and created_at to {{ $json.created_at }}. This turns the raw payload into tidy values your destination can use.

    Send it to Gmail

    Add a Gmail node set to operation Send. Connect your Google account, set To, Subject and Message from the Set-node fields to fire off a clean notification or confirmation email.

    Click Activate in the top-right of the canvas. Trigger a test order in Shopify, then confirm it appears in Gmail. Once it works, you're done — every new order now flows through automatically.
