Auto-Backup Every Threads Post to HubSpot
Never lose a Threads post again — this workflow copies every new one straight to HubSpot, where it has HubSpot create or update a HubSpot record as a standing backup.
- 1
Fetch Threads data
Add an
HTTP Requestnode (or the native Threads node if you have credentials set up) and point it at the Threads API. Poll Threads for new posts. Add aSchedule Triggerbefore it if this recipe runs on a timer, or aWebhooknode if Threads can push events directly. - 2
Shape the data with a Set node
Add a
Setnode after the fetch step to pull out the fields you need — e.g.id,title(orname),status, andupdated_atfrom the Threads post. This keeps the rest of the workflow clean and readable. - 3
Send it to HubSpot
Add a
HubSpotnode set to the right resource (Contact/Deal), operationCreate/Update. Map the key field (usually email) and the rest from the Set node. - 4
Activate and test
Click
Activatein the top-right corner. Trigger a real post in Threads (or run the workflow manually against existing data) and confirm it lands correctly in HubSpot. Once verified, this runs hands-off.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to code anything?
No. n8n is a visual, drag-and-drop builder. You connect your Threads and HubSpot accounts, map the fields, and activate — no code required.
Where do I get my Threads API credentials?
In your Threads account settings, look for "API", "Developers" or "Integrations" and generate an API key or token. Paste it into n8n's HTTP Request node (as a header or credential) or the native Threads node if one is available.
Can this run on a schedule instead of in real time?
Yes — swap the trigger for a `Schedule Trigger` set to whatever interval fits (every 15 minutes, hourly, daily). The rest of the workflow stays the same.
