Add the WooCommerce Trigger node
Start with a
WooCommerce Triggernode — connect your WooCommerce store (URL + consumer key/secret) and setEventtoorder.created. This fires the workflow the moment a new order arrives. - 2
Map the fields with a Set node
Add a
Setnode after the trigger to shape the data cleanly. Create fields:order_idto{{ $json.id }},emailto{{ $json.billing.email }},totalto{{ $json.total }}, andstatusto{{ $json.status }}. This turns the raw payload into tidy values your destination can use. - 3
Send it to Gmail
Add a
Gmailnode set to operationSend. Connect your Google account, setTo,SubjectandMessagefrom the Set-node fields to fire off a clean notification or confirmation email. - 4
Activate and test
Click
Activatein the top-right of the canvas. Trigger a test order in WooCommerce, then confirm it appears in Gmail. Once it works, you're done — every new order now flows through automatically.

Do I need any coding skills to set this up?
No. n8n is a visual, drag-and-drop tool. You connect your WooCommerce and Gmail accounts, point the nodes at the right form/sheet/channel, map the fields, and activate. No code required.
Can I filter which orders get sent to Gmail?
Yes. Add an `IF` node between the Set node and the Gmail node with a condition (for example, only send when an amount is above a threshold or a field equals a value). Wire the TRUE branch to Gmail and leave FALSE empty to skip the rest.
Can I send each order to more than one place at once?
Absolutely. Branch the workflow after the Set node: connect it to multiple destination nodes so the same order lands in Gmail and, say, Slack or a spreadsheet simultaneously.
