AI-Summarize Every Brevo Contact and Send to HubSpot

An AI step reads each new Brevo contact, writes a short summary, and n8n has HubSpot create or update a HubSpot record — so your team gets the gist without reading the whole thing.

difficulty Intermediatesetup 20 minresult A hands-off n8n workflow where every relevant Brevo contact automatically reaches HubSpot — create or update a HubSpot record.
  1. 1

    Fetch Brevo data

Add an HTTP Request node (or the native Brevo node if you have credentials set up) and point it at the Brevo API. Poll Brevo for new contacts. Add a Schedule Trigger before it if this recipe runs on a timer, or a Webhook node if Brevo can push events directly.

  2. 2

Shape the data with a Set node

Add a Set node after the fetch step to pull out the fields you need — e.g. id, title (or name), status, and updated_at from the Brevo contact. This keeps the rest of the workflow clean and readable.

  3. 3

    Send it to HubSpot

Add a HubSpot node set to the right resource (Contact/Deal), operation Create/Update. Map the key field (usually email) and the rest from the Set node.

  4. 4

    Activate and test

Click Activate in the top-right corner. Trigger a real contact in Brevo (or run the workflow manually against existing data) and confirm it lands correctly in HubSpot. Once verified, this runs hands-off.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to code anything?

No. n8n is a visual, drag-and-drop builder. You connect your Brevo and HubSpot accounts, map the fields, and activate — no code required.

Where do I get my Brevo API credentials?

In your Brevo account settings, look for "API", "Developers" or "Integrations" and generate an API key or token. Paste it into n8n's HTTP Request node (as a header or credential) or the native Brevo node if one is available.

Can this run on a schedule instead of in real time?

Yes — swap the trigger for a `Schedule Trigger` set to whatever interval fits (every 15 minutes, hourly, daily). The rest of the workflow stays the same.
