Celebrate Every G2 Milestone in Notion

When a G2 review hits a meaningful milestone, n8n catches it and has Notion create a new page in a Notion database — a small, automatic celebration your team actually sees.

difficulty Beginnersetup 20 minresult A hands-off n8n workflow where every relevant G2 review automatically reaches Notion — create a new page in a Notion database.
  1. 1

    Fetch G2 data

Add an HTTP Request node (or the native G2 node if you have credentials set up) and point it at the G2 API. Poll G2 for new reviews and check against a threshold. Add a Schedule Trigger before it if this recipe runs on a timer, or a Webhook node if G2 can push events directly.

  2. 2

Shape the data with a Set node

Add a Set node after the fetch step to pull out the fields you need — e.g. id, title (or name), status, and updated_at from the G2 review. This keeps the rest of the workflow clean and readable.

  3. 3

    Send it to Notion

Add a Notion node set to resource Database Page, operation Create. Connect your integration, pick the target Database, and map the Set-node fields to your database properties.

  4. 4

    Activate and test

Click Activate in the top-right corner. Trigger a real review in G2 (or run the workflow manually against existing data) and confirm it lands correctly in Notion. Once verified, this runs hands-off.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to code anything?

No. n8n is a visual, drag-and-drop builder. You connect your G2 and Notion accounts, map the fields, and activate — no code required.

Where do I get my G2 API credentials?

In your G2 account settings, look for "API", "Developers" or "Integrations" and generate an API key or token. Paste it into n8n's HTTP Request node (as a header or credential) or the native G2 node if one is available.

Can this run on a schedule instead of in real time?

Yes — swap the trigger for a `Schedule Trigger` set to whatever interval fits (every 15 minutes, hourly, daily). The rest of the workflow stays the same.
