Map the fields with a Set node
Add a
Setnode after the trigger to shape the data cleanly. Create fields:fromto{{ $json.from.value[0].address }},subjectto{{ $json.subject }}, andsnippetto{{ $json.snippet }}. This turns the raw payload into tidy values your destination can use. - 3
Send it to Slack
Add a
Slacknode set to operationSend Message. Connect your Slack workspace, choose theChannel, and set the messageTextto a summary built from the Set-node fields, e.g.New email: {{ $json.email }}. - 4
Activate and test
Click
Activatein the top-right of the canvas. Trigger a test email in Gmail, then confirm it appears in Slack. Once it works, you're done — every new email now flows through automatically.
