    Add the Shopify Trigger node

    Start with a Shopify Trigger node — connect your Shopify store credential and set Topic to Order Created (or Order Paid). n8n registers the webhook with Shopify automatically. This fires the workflow the moment a new order arrives.

    Map the fields with a Set node

    Add a Set node after the trigger to shape the data cleanly. Create fields: order_number to {{ $json.order_number }}, email to {{ $json.email }}, total to {{ $json.total_price }}, and created_at to {{ $json.created_at }}. This turns the raw payload into tidy values your destination can use.

    Send it to Discord

    Add an HTTP Request node, set Method to POST, and paste your Discord channel webhook URL (Discord > Channel Settings > Integrations > Webhooks > New Webhook) into the URL field. Set Body Content Type to JSON and add one parameter: key content, value a message built from the Set-node fields.

    Activate and test

    Click Activate in the top-right of the canvas. Trigger a test order in Shopify, then confirm it appears in Discord. Once it works, you're done — every new order now flows through automatically.

Do I need any coding skills to set this up?

No. n8n is a visual, drag-and-drop tool. You connect your Shopify and Discord accounts, point the nodes at the right form/sheet/channel, map the fields, and activate. No code required.

Can I filter which orders get sent to Discord?

Yes. Add an `IF` node between the Set node and the HTTP Request node with a condition (for example, only send when an amount is above a threshold or a field equals a value). Wire the TRUE branch to HTTP Request and leave FALSE empty to skip the rest.

Can I send each order to more than one place at once?

Absolutely. Branch the workflow after the Set node: connect it to multiple destination nodes so the same order lands in Discord and, say, Slack or a spreadsheet simultaneously.
